Fintray SWI
Fintray SRI - What goes on at the SWI?
The Scottish Women’s Institute is a national organization which has been part of country life for more than 90 years.
Here in Fintray we may be part of a bigger picture but we’re just a bunch of women from the village and around who meet in the Public Hall once a month (but not over the summer) for some fun. We generally have a speaker or demonstrator on a wide variety of subjects (suggestions always welcome) and we have a cuppa, a fine piece and lots of chat. Members can try their hands at the monthly competitions – some requiring a bit of skill, some just for fun – and there are usually outings or external events to take part in.
Come along to the meeting room in the Public Hall at 7.30pm and join us! You don’t have to become a member – come to any evenings that take your fancy. You’ll get a warm welcome!
